HomeUnderstood is an informational home-buying and renovation planning tool. You remain responsible for your decisions and for verifying material information with qualified professionals. The operating entity, business address, jurisdiction and effective date are pending owner confirmation.

Your account and household

Keep your sign-in information secure and provide accurate information. Use the service lawfully; do not attempt to access other households, bypass safeguards or submit information you have no right to share. Household members share a credit balance and home unlocks. An agent invitation does not grant access until the buyer accepts. Accepted agents see the information permitted by the collaboration settings; household-only documents stay private.

Deep Analysis purchases

A one-time $20 pack contains four Deep Analyses, shared within your household, with no subscription or automatic renewal. Credits have no scheduled expiration. One credit is consumed when your household first unlocks Deep Analysis for a home. Revisits, refreshes, price changes and co-buyer viewing do not consume another credit while that home remains unlocked. A failed run that delivers no usable household analysis restores its attached credit. A report with disclosed gaps can still be a usable delivered analysis.

Purchases are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. See the Refund and Credit Policy. Preview payments use test money, not actual charges.

Research limitations

Listings, public records, AI output and third-party photos can be incomplete, stale or incorrect. HomeUnderstood does not guarantee availability, accuracy, a valuation, a successful purchase or a particular financial outcome. Verified comparable-sales integration is unavailable in this beta. Older saved sales context is not newly verified evidence.

Documents and submitted content

Only upload documents you are authorized to use. You retain rights in your content and authorize processing to provide the requested service and collaboration. HomeUnderstood does not provide legal interpretation or replace professional inspection. Do not upload sensitive information that is unnecessary for the analysis.

Service changes, disputes and statutory rights

These draft terms do not waive rights that cannot legally be waived. Rules for service termination, unused credits on closure, liability, governing law and dispute resolution require owner and attorney approval before launch; no arbitration or legal guarantee is established here.
